Affinity Designer is another option as well. It has some more features/capabilities than Inkscape, but is still much cheaper than Illustrator ($55, no subscription). - Source: Reddit / 19 days ago
Affinity Designer https://affinity.serif.com/en-us/designer (I use it to Renders vector graphics because it's simply better than Gravit in that regard ). - Source: Reddit / about 1 month ago
It sounds like you want to possibly avoid Creative Cloud? Ever looked at the Affinity design suite instead? https://affinity.serif.com/en-us/designer/. - Source: Reddit / about 1 month ago
But if you will ever go for a paid software I would strongly recommend that you check out Affinity (https://affinity.serif.com/en-us/designer/). I have all of their software and it is amazing. They are the strongest competitor to Adobe stuff at fraction of the price (pay once, keep forever). Around black friday they will probably have a sale (probably 50% off). - Source: Reddit / about 1 month ago
