  • Isn't Mixamo compatible with slightly non-humanoid characters?
I don't know how to fix that, but you can switch to accuRIG, its free and does an even better job than mixamo's. Source: 12 months ago
  • This has a Unity rig, what in your opinion is the best rig for use in Blender, accurig, mixamo, rigify or build my own? Thanks
While waiting I found: https://actorcore.reallusion.com/auto-rig And: https://blender-addons.org/rigify-animbox-addon/ So I should able to use all the Unity animations that came with it, something like 250+. Didn’t know about the others but I will look into them- thanks. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Looking for a rigged Blender model for Sangres?
Just to check before I download anything, this is the correct site to download Accurig right? I'm assuming Accurig can rig facial bones as well as bones for the body, cause that's what I'd be using most? Do you know what the extractor is for files in Payday 2? The only extractor I'm familiar with is Umodel for Unreal Engine games, so I haven't seen any extractors for other engines? Source: over 1 year ago
  • Fun with Rigify in Blender
If you need a quick and free way to rig a biped character you can use Accurig from Reallusion, I've had a lot of success: https://actorcore.reallusion.com/auto-rig. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Game prototype using AI assisted graphics
He could probably have sped it up a little bit further with the headshot plugin for character creator. https://www.cartoonbrew.com/sponsored-by-reallusion/how-to-generating-a-3d-animated-gollum-from-a-single-photo-186652.html They also have ActorCore AutoRig for free now that'll quickly rig any model. And, they sell anims for a couple of bucks per anim on there as well. https://actorcore.reallusion.com/auto-rig... - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago

  • I made a 3D editor that models in pure CSS+HTML
It's just a cool tech demo that pushes CSS to its limits, but it's completely useless if you want to create usable 3d models. If you want to model in the browser, you can check out vectary, playcanvas, or spline. Source: about 1 year ago
  • I made a rack for my bit holder cartridges so I can insert it into my custom bits and driver tool set
Yes, it says "A nice 3D render" in the caption. I rendered it on vectary.com. It's a pretty cool tool if you don't have fancy 3D software on your computer. Source: about 3 years ago
