I'd recommend installing accubattery and using it right away. Unfortunately there's no battery health monitor in the settings like in iOS but accubattery is a great alternative and is even better in some aspects. The proper solution to tests sharing state would be randomization. Unless we are locked to real hardware - even then there is virtualization - we can randomize anything.
