Perhaps try to look at some actual games that were made within the last 5 years, and look at their player base. IIRC hordes.io was made by one very talented individual working full time for 3 years. It is fairly simple, but it has a decent player base. Also look at http://rpg.mo.ee/ https://browserquest.obeyi.com/ http://aberoth.com/ https://margonem.com/ https://stealthygaming.com/oblox-mmorpg-games/. Source: over 2 years ago
Have you ever played WoW classic? I know you've played wow, but modern wow doesnt have the same sense of exponential progression as classic. That game is one of the most satisfying games in terms of gear and skill line progression. Probably one of the most remarkable leveling AND endgame progression experiences I can think of. Starts out kindof slow though. Also if you liked tibia, maybe you like this game?... Source: about 3 years ago

I enjoyed the ad for the same reason I and millions of others enjoy The Hydraulic Press Channel [1], I genuinely have trouble seeing how in good faith the ad could have been interpreted as anything other than "This is all the stuff that fits in your iPad" - https://youtube.com/@hydraulicpresschannel. - Source: Hacker News / 7 days ago
Someone get Styropyro to build one to power a laser cannon. He’d build one for sure. https://youtube.com/@styropyro?si=6odE-Af0yU8ZpzxE. - Source: Hacker News / 12 days ago
