I'm now traveling - by train and ferry. Just use 3rd company that knows how to speak with airlines. Because many carriers have bad customer support. I'm always using kiwi, Omio, 80days.me. Source: almost 2 years ago
You can manage your trip directly on ba.com or you can text to support of any another agency - 80days.me for example. Source: almost 2 years ago

What about opensky-network.org? Their API is free if you are a feeder. I use Node-RED to get the exact information you mention. Not sure what programming language you are going to use, but if I can get it working in Node-RED as a non-programmer, you should have it up and running in just a few minutes. You may try https://opensky-network.org/, they have a good historical data for aircrafts. Might be something you can find for the airports as well. Source: almost 3 years ago
I haven't thought much about this actually. I wouldn't know how to do something interesting with monitoring/streaming/retraining because as you say, it looks like you would need a proper production setting; that said, there are some interesting open source streaming data sources out there, I recently saw some open live data for flights around the world for example (I think it's this one). Flightradar24 filters out a lot of data. ie: military flights. You should look into using opensky-network.org. Source: about 3 years ago
