What I did was look up the touch typing hand layout (googling it is pretty easy), then just force myself to use it. I started off going from 37wpm to 7wpm, but through a lot of use (especially doing daily type tests on websites like https://play.typeracer.com/ or https://10fastfingers.com/ ) I'm now at ~65wpm without looking after a couple months. Work on your typing speed, take frequent breaks, and make sure your workstation is ergonomic. We spend a lot of time in front of the PC and are prone to injury because of it. That said, don't expect to be able to sit and write for three hours at a time if you've never sat that long at a computer or typed that much; you can work your way up to those more intense sessions.
