Tbh if I were you I would just flash the Debian image to a USB with Rufus or BalenaEtcher and boot from the USB. Just make sure to disable secure boot before doing so, otherwise the USB won't boot. Also you should probably uninstall the Debian loader from Windows. - Source: Reddit / 7 months ago
You can download the iso and use something like https://balena.io/etcher. - Source: Reddit / 8 months ago

Ah on mac, that explains a little bit. So rufus does not exist for mac, but you can use something like balena etcher steps are: 1. Download the iso (keep in downloads folder, not on usb) 2. Plug in a USB. Download https://balena.io/etcher. Download https://dban.org. Use etcher to burn the dban ISO to your USB drive. Reboot and hold the Option key. Select the USB drive and select "go". Look up a guide on how to use dban. - Source: Reddit / over 1 year ago
I encountered this problem some time ago, where when I googled for balena etcher, a couple of very similar and similarly named websites would pop up. For the fun of it, you should try making a bootable thumb drive as it is super easy to do. Find a distribution that looks appealing (perhaps something like PopOS or Elementary), download the ISO, download Etcher to create a USB drive, and then mash the boot menu key to give it a whirl. - Source: Reddit / over 1 year ago
To make the bootable USB stick, use balenaEtcher (or similar) to flash the .iso file to the USB stick. Don't mess around with the USB partitioning manually. - Source: Reddit / over 1 year ago

- Using something like balena.io/etcher/ you can grab any 4GB or bigger USB pendrive (YOU WILL LOSE ALL DATA ON IT!) and plug it in, and use this program to write the ISO you downloaded to that pendrive. - Source: Reddit / almost 2 years ago
For installing it on your system you will need an empty usb and a program to create a bootable image. I suggest you to try balena etcher: balena.io/etcher. - Source: Reddit / almost 2 years ago
