Go to https://streamable.com/ or https://streamin.me/ Streamable links on reddit show up in a convenient, in-feed playable thumbnail — but I've heard from users on the sub that it's blocked in some countries so it's not accessible; additionally Streamable has options to "trim" and "merge" clips in-browser, which is convenient. Streamin.me doesn't load an in-feed playable thumbnail based on my experience, but I've heard it doesn't have regional restrictions.
