Learn Git Branching

Quite recently I discovered this website https://learngitbranching.js.org It's a great help because it teaches all important git commands and visualizes them. I'm a visual and trial-and-error learner and this website was a game changer for me. It's way better than docs or dry lists of commands to learn git and "feel" it, not just memorize theory.

Before using GitHub, I’d start with the basics of git. I would recommend the official documentation or the book “Pro Git” by Scott Chacon and Ben Strab. It’s published under an open source license and can be downloaded in different ebook formats from the official site. Or you can buy a paper copy.
