Ungrabbed.com — The concept of this is simple: it’s a newsletter with two domains sent to your inbox every morning that can be used for naming businesses, side projects, etc. They’re usually quite good in quality and cost around $150-$350. So, if you keep an eye out, you can snag something decent (but you have to be quick as there are a lot of subscribers).

ExpiredDomains.net — this is probably the most well-known website in the domain industry and for good reason. You can see what domains have expired or will be expiring and can filter by things like search volume, TLDs registered, age, CPC, etc., and then hand register expired ones for cheap or place a backorder. I have a keyword list I’ve developed from analyzing dotDB and NameBio sales, so I will search for my keywords on here and then filter to find some that could have value.

DropCatch

DropCatch.com — If you know a domain is about to expire (from Expired Domains or elsewhere) then you can backorder it for free. If nobody else has placed a backorder, you’ll get the domain for $59, otherwise it will enter a short auction where you have to bid against others.

GoDaddy Auctions (Closeout) — On regular GoDaddy auctions, you’ll tend to see some pretty deep pockets and some crazy inflated prices. If you filter by closeout, however, you can snag some decent domains for as little as $5.
