Vim Adventures

I usually run lower end machines, so it's been an issue and sounds like it still would be. I absolutely agree that vim's learning curve is quite steep. Though there is https://vim-adventures.com/ which is a cute/fun way of learning and many guides exist that help make it easier to get started. Also, plugins help turn vim into an IDE, but I imagine an editor built as a modern IDE, like VSCode, probably does better in many cases.
