Welp, android creeped me out again. Is there another smartphone os you'd recommend?

GrapheneOS
  1. GrapheneOS is an open source privacy and security focused mobile OS with Android app compatibility.
    Pricing:
    • Open Source
GrapheneOS - Is only supported on Google Pixel devices, unfortunately, although it has great features like the sandboxed Google Play apps which lets you use Google Services if you'd like. It's recommended to make a separate profile and only enable it there since the main Owner profile will be where you mainly use your apps. I currently run this on a Pixel 6 Pro and I haven't had any major issues, just minor bugs and app instability if it requires Google Services.

  2. Privacy-focused operating system for smartphones based on Android and microG
CalyxOS - Similar to GrapheneOS, it mostly supports Pixel devices, but (to my knowledge) doesn't have the same amount of features as GrapheneOS. I've never used it though so I'm probably wrong.
