Techlore had a pretty good video talking about how to clean up your digital footprint. He recommends going through your email account, identify all the services you signed up for with that account (searching "sign up" or "verify" in your email can give a sort of unofficial list of sites/services you created an account for), falsify all your personal information for accounts you no longer use or need, and then delete them where ever possible. And also some other things like checking https://haveibeenpwned.com/ to check if your email was involved in a data breach, or https://haveibeenpwned.com/Passwords to check if your password was leaked, changing the password on breached accounts, or shutting them down completely.
