Obsidian works perfectly for me, remember that it is a copy that is being almocked on your device, if what you want is to do sync with several devices I recommend that you use Syncthing https://syncthing.net/ and sync your vault main with Mac, Linux , Windows or iOS, Android and if you want to implement Dillinger as Markdown Editor.
