The strange part is that when checking the source code with ctrl+u or via tools like https://metatags.io/ the right description is displayed whether reaching for https://mywebsite.com (lang based on browser language or english ) or mywebsite.com/fr or https://mywebsite.com/en. I thought that the source code was the source of truth of what the search engine can see without needing to execute javascript.
