I'm pretty sure you've heard about Animal Crossing, it's also a game about collecting things, but if you'd like a cheaper version of Animal Crossing, I highly recommend Hokko Life, which recently ported to other consoles as well.

Temtem is a Massively Multiplayer Online and Role-playing video game released by Humble Bundle for PC and expecting to release for Console in earlier 2021.
If you like Pokémon, you might want to give Temtem a try. It's very similar in play because you collect creatures and bring them to fight other players. This used to be a PC title, but recently ported to consoles.
