Air BnB, hostels, or other housing?

I do both. I'm a photographer & need to do a lot of screen work editing. Often I find that hostels don't have decent table & chair in private rooms. But many AirBNB's don't either... Air BNB gets a bit cheaper if you stay longer as the cleaning fee is usually fixed, plus some places offer monthly discounts. Some places are horrendously expensive - Amsterdam especially. Some cities have a severe shortage of housing & Air BNB adds to that by taking good apartments out of housing stock. This is a big issue in Dublin, where I use student accommodation which is rented out on booking.com when students are on vacation. There's quite a few of these available in Uni towns & cities, they all have decent wifi & workspace in private rooms in my experience. And kitchens, some shared between a few rooms, some studio set ups.
