Coolors.co

Coolors is a great starting point if you have a nice base colour. After you have a good starting colour, their colour picker tool is great for slightly modifying the temperature and tone of the colour to fit your base black/grey colour. This was an iterative process for me - find a decent starting colour, try different shades of that colour so it fits better, paste that shade back into the colour picker, adjust tints/tones/hues/temperatures to see if I can find a nicer fitting colour, and rinse repeat until happy.
