Forced to T-Mobile biller - can't even check hotspot usage πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚

How to solve big problems and test new ideas in 5 days
"I work in technology and I’m studying cyber security. I’m fully aware of how stuff works. You’re kidding yourself if you don’t think you can’t be tracked by your cell phone provider or any company for that matter." - Again, I never said I couldn't be tracked. I said I was not going to install an app that ALLOWS them to have access to all this data (messages including) simply for me to check my hotspot data usage, that when on sprint.com could be done super simply. There is a level of access these companies have in terms of data, and if that level is broken without my consent, I will finally be able to pay off my student loans (aka I can sue). If you don't install/accept their TOS, you limit the amount of tracking/data collection they can do. I know damn well TikTok (my most used app) can track a decent amount of what I do, but at the same time, due to my device configuration, they are limited to what they can track and collect. The way companies track you is by that TOS you have to "accept" in order to use their data. It is not a matter of if someone "can", it is a matter of if they do. And by installing their app that has all the constraints, I enable them to do.

  2. A revolutionary way to keep your family connected
I used to use the sprint.com site, but when I logged in today to check my usage, it redirected me to the t-mobile.com site, I also received a text message this morning telling me I was on the T-Mobile biller.
