It's a free website where you type in a band and it shows a "map" with a bunch of other bands listed. Closer the band, the more likely the two are similar. It's part of GNOD, a self-learning system that enables users to discover and discuss new music, books, products, art, and movies. I just realized movie-map.com is a thing.
