Is it possible to get a decent 2 bed in NOVA for $2400?

As long as you're not looking for luxury and amenities like gym and pool, <2400 for 2bd is totally doable. We've had luck with older garden-style units found on apartments.com in north Arlington within walking/biking distance of Georgetown. Never paid more than 1900. Don't want to share exactly where since they're private landlords in condo communities. Just set your parameters on apartments.com and check regularly.

If you 100% want a managed building then there's some solid recs here. Otherwise, I think you can that price if you get lucky with a private rental. I think a lot of owners in the area post on hotpads.com so you could try your luck there if you consider that route.
