The Lounge Element.io
  1. The Lounge is a web IRC client that you host on your own server.
    Pricing:
    • Open Source
    1) Move to IRC. We could easily deploy a public instance of [TheLounge](https://thelounge.chat/) and lock it to our IRC specifically so that people could join our IRC with a low bar to entry. The main drawbacks of this would be the usual drawbacks of IRC, no emotes, no file uploads, no voice chats, and so on.

  2. Secure messaging app with strong end-to-end encryption, advanced group chat privacy settings, secure video calls for teams, encrypted communication using Matrix open network. Riot.im is now Element.
    Pricing:
    • Open Source
    • Free
    2) Move to Matrix. While we couldn't easily deploy a web app like IRC, users can easily grab a Matrix client [like Element](https://element.io/) and join our Matrix space. Matrix offers the features people have come to expect like voice chat, file uploads, and so on. The main drawback of this would be having to download your own Matrix client on your computer or phone.
