I'm an English teacher and Youtuber needing your help in finding examples of specific idioms in movies and other video media.

Youglish Playphrase.me
  1. Improve your English pronunciation using Youtube. When words sound different in isolation vs. in a sentence, look up the pronunciation first in a dictionary, then use https://youglish.com.
At the moment I use the usual suspects of Google and YouTube to find many examples of English idioms quoted in movies to create "edutainment" video classes that are hopefully more interesting than the norm. I have found playphrase.me, getyarn.io, and youglish.com to be absolutely invaluable in searching for idioms in movies, series, and within Youtube videos but their capabilities are still very limited when searching so widely for such specific dialogue across so many and such varied video media. So, I messaged the mods here for permission to post asking for help in finding other resources to help me track down idioms and also to use the community as a resource by asking directly about specific idioms. I have published one video on idioms so far, "Fun English Idioms From the Military" https://youtu.be/qo6Vtm6EXiI on my channel, socooley English. What other resources can you all think of that I should check out?
