Sample Focus Bandcamp
  1. The easiest way to find the perfect audio sample
Of course your preferred genre needs drums and possibly other instruments as well. Are you familiar with MIDI? There are percussion VSTs that respond to MIDI, either from an external device or from within your DAW or music tracker of choice, and some of them are indistinguishable from real drummers (although the best products tend to cost money, eg: Addictive Drums 2). If you prefer there are sources for royalty-free samples though, such as Music Radar, Sample Focus, and Looperman.

  2. Discover amazing music and directly support the artists who make it.
The end-goal here is to create completed songs. Once you've done that your next step should be to canvass your local community to either find musicians that might be motivated to work with you because you have a demonstrated ability to complete songs, or find a filmmaker or animator that would be interested in making videos to go along with your songs. Then you can put your work on Bandcamp, upload some videos to Youtube, and see where it takes you. But don't forget to protect yourself and your rights as a musician, and if you work with someone in any capacity don't downplay whatever they're bringing to the table.
