The first thing I'm going to do is to go my my phone carrier in the Dom. Rep. And see if I can get my phone number back, the one I use for 2FA on gemini.com That would solvethe problem. If that doesn't work, I'm going to try and get a U.S. Phone number. There are sites at which you can buy a U.S. number, for example, hushed.com I don't understand how I can receive a 2FA text for on U.S. Number that's on my Dom. Rep. phone. It seems impossible but when I talk to customer service at some of these sites maybe there is a way.

This morning I completed the signup process for etoro.com and the site even accepted my Dom. Rep. Plhone number for 2FA. Then, in looking around at the site, I found the warning that the service is not available to U.S. Citizens who are not residing in the U.S. Maybe I could have used the site and be in violation. But that's exactly what I want to avoid, having a problem and needing support, and then being told that they can't help me because I'm in violation . . .
