OpenEmu

Depends on what games you play. Dolphin means you can play basically every Wii/GC game at 1080p on base M1's (Mario Galaxy 1/2!), OpenEmu is fantastic for games older than that (Super Metroid, Pokemon Platinum and Chrono Trigger are a few that I recently played), and Minecraft runs over 500fps at full res with some basic mods if you use the linked custom launcher.

Moonlight-Stream.org

Of course, for fancy AAA games I can't run them natively but Moonlight has basically no latency on the local network so I am not restricted to my PC around the house and can still enjoy 1440p/max settings with a display that supports the resolution. It only works natively on NVIDA cards as it uses the same driver feature used to stream to a Shield, but I believe there is a third-party client for AMD cards as well on GitHub.
