    Check out https://tauri.studio. It’s a WIP, but it’s already a significant chunk of the way to being an electron alternative. Many devs could probably already use it. Of course, it requires them to support more browser engines, but usually that’s trivial, unless you’re doing something fancy. Also, there’s the issue that the native browser engine isn’t something more modern like WebKit, Gecko, or Chromium, but something like IE. The Taurus developers have answers for all of these questions. It’s a little more work than electron, but it’s worth it I think.
