Homebrew

You’re very welcome, when I first started with Linux it was kind of a strange thing to wrap my head around but in the long run I much prefer that way of doing things. There’s actually a solution like that for macOS with a tool called homebrew which I use all the time. Maybe you’ll find that you prefer to use a package manager as well :).
