Facebook marketplace scammer is still waiting for his gift card, what should I do next?

This was followed by a phishing email from Venmo. (It states right on the Venmo site that any emails coming from them have a venmo.com extension.) The email I received had an aol.com extension and told me that the original $300 sent by the purchaser was on hold because they had paid it twice. $650 was ready to be credited to my account as soon as I refunded the buyer's original $300 and sent them proof of the refund via photos of the gift card with the serial scraped off.
