YouTube doesn't carry a lot of indie music, and I'm really into indie music. I usually use indieshuffle.com. When I come across a new, I'll search online, and often it's not on YouTube but on, say, the band's soundcloud site. More often it's on Spotify. I use Spotify Premium. Another great feature of Spotify is that it provides the "if you like this, then you might like that feature." That's not on YouTube music, is it? So, there you go. Two reasons Spotify is better for music than YouTube.
