  1. Check if your account has been compromised in a data breach
I did this because I found some information on https://haveibeenpwned.com and didn't want people to attempt credential stuffing attacks on my accounts. At this point, almost none of my original accounts exist and I strictly use random passwords to keep my account security safe for any current accounts.

FYI: To limit accounts made by you in the future, use https://dispostable.com when possible. That site is used as a mail server that anyone can access emails on. If the account you're creating is for temporary usage, you can sign up with an email like aosnsocnOnwi1937@dispostable.com and go check the inbox to confirm the email address. Anyone can check that email address, so you wouldn't want to give it out (as that could compromise your account), but without someone knowing the email that won't happen. It's also unfeasible for someone to guess something like that, and the site is protected from automated spidering through captchas so you shouldn't have to worry about something happening to an account you create with that. Just save the information and delete the accounts you created when you're done using them. Use fake information when possible as well to prevent the accounts from being traced back to you.
