F-Droid is an interesting alternative for Android users who want to try something different and not have to use the Goole Play store all the time.
1) Install F-Droid (https://f-droid.org/) 2) Install Termux from F-Droid 3) Open Termux 4) Run "pkg update" 5) Run "pkg install proot-distro" 6) Run "proot-distro install archlinux" 7) Install XSDL from the google play store 8) Open and run XSDL (play with the resolutions and the scaling at some point to make the appearance comfortable for yourself. I perfer 1280x800 / 0.2x scaling) 9) Run "proot-distro login archlinux" back in termux 10) Run "pacman -Suy" 11) Follow the instructions on how to setup the repo here: https://privacyshark.zero-credibility.net/#howto 12) Run "pacman -S signal-desktop" to install signal 13) Run "export DISPLAY=127.0.0.1:0" 14) Run "signal-desktop --no-sandbox" 15) Switch back to your XSDL window and in a few moments signal should load asking you to scan it's barcode.
