For alternatives, I've started using CeFi lending platforms like crypto.com, Gemini, and Nexo. There is platform risk (what if ethereum breaks?) and also counterparty risk, but there is a podcast out there with the Gemini and BlockFi guys explaining how they are paying 8-12% yield. I personally put a lot of trust in Gemini but just be smart (also, probably avoid Celsius).
