Restic

Another backup alternative is borgbackup with borgmatic for more automated backups, but these requires access to a server supporting SSH. Alternatively, there is restic, which integrates directly with backblaze B2 - but I haven't used that for real in a long time.

Rclone

I can recommend using rclone with backblaze B2, where you can encrypt data before being uploaded to the B2 storage bucket. It's a little work getting rclone correctly setup with the encryption, but once done you just need to kick off a "backup script" to upload data.
