Email providers recommendations for average user?

MXroute is USA based and looks to be the cheapest alternative overall if you want to use many domains or accounts. Unlimited domains and accounts in all pricing tiers, the only difference being available storage space. 10GB at $45/year, 25GB at $55/year etc. (during the current Black Friday sale only $10 and $25 respectively or $99 for a lifetime subscription). Protonmail, which seems to be very good privacy-wise, but found it just too expensive.
