For all the nonsensical accounts/registrations, like social media, forums, shops and games, I use something like SimpleLogin or AnonAddy to generate emails, each service having a unique address you can change without much effort in the event it is compromised. If you find out if any of your email-addresses are leaked, you can now point out the specific service that leaked it.
