    As for mail, I'm currently using Neomutt, with isync (unrelated to Apple) for offline IMAP storage and msmtp for SMTP. It's fantastic and does everything I want, including PGP signing and encryption, but there's a bit of a learning curve and it definitely isn't an all-in-one solution (i.e. You need to combine it with other apps/tools). It can be a bit daunting to set up, but there is a wizard script that can do all/most of the configuration for you.
