Thought I'd share my thoughts of building a native Mac app using a pretty niche tool — using a nocode tool called Vuo, and in the process, share a little perspective from someone who's used no-code tools for many, many years and seen similar patterns.

Scratch

Vuo is similar to Scratch, or MaxMSP and other graphical programming tools. There's a set of building blocks, or nodes which you connect together using cables. Vuo, in particular, comes from the conceptual lineage of Quartz Composer, a now discontinued development tool that shipped with Macs.
