My dad died at the end of July and I remembered him saying he was thinking of learning about self directed investing last year. I'm glad he never went through with it because when I was cleaning out his apartment I found a bunch of login information and bookmarks from fool.com (pretty much all of it was fool resources, didn't even have an investopedia link in there). They prey on the boomer investors who still think sources like CNBC are giving them accurate and timely investor news.
