Keep It

If it’s not your cup of tea or isn’t approachable you could also try Keep It which is solid, well designed and easier to learn, it’s also a bit more focused on files and less of an everything bucket. It isn’t nearly as powerful as DT and it’s a subscription but I used it for quite a while and have no reservation recommending it.

Hook

Filesystem is great if you only work on macOS but file:/// (and Hook) links don’t work on iOS so if you want to link directly to a file in a Bear note you’re out of luck on other platforms.
