I'm currently running a well-maintained Prestashop 1.6 shop with loads of bug fixes etc. However, as Prestashop has moved on to 1.7, a lot of module developers are slowly giving up on supporting 1.6. The emergence of 1.6 forks such as thirtybees doesn't really change this.

There should be a decent amount of available plugins/modules, eg shipping carriers, payment providers, etc. For the EU (so eg no Maropost Commerce or Sylius).
