I use namecheap.com for domains because you get free domain privacy for life. If the domain name is taken, then look for other names or other ways to make it work. Don't get anything other than a .com domain. Don't buy a domain that is for sale unless you want to fork over $$$.

- Write blog posts on the website. Write about your local market and markets you want to service. Write posts that clients you want to target will want to read. You won't get work from your website right away, but if you consistently write posts, you will over time. Google a little bit about SEO (https://backlinko.com/blog is a good place to start). It takes time. Like months. But it compounds over time. Do some keyword research first before writing articles so you can know what your future customers are searching for a want to read.
