Why is Netflix black-listing Linux?

YouTube Kanopy
  1. Our mission is to give everyone a voice and show them the world.
Anyway, Neftlix. Most likely places to get tripped up are User-Agent, and also DRM. I think at least (not too old) Firefox can do the relevant DRM if Netflix requires that, but by default it may be disabled in Firefox. Chromium probably lacks the DRM if that's needed, but Chrome might have that for Linux - I've not checked ... But I've generally had better luck/success - at least more recently, with Firefox with various on-line video/streaming (e.g. youtube.com, kanopy.com, hoopladigital.com, nbc.com (though they seem to have introduced bugs in their newer player a few weeks ago - and seeing those bugs may not be at all specific to Linux)).
