    You could use an email client which supports pgp, e.g mailpile, (or if you don’t want to selfhost, then thunderbird for pc and k9 for android), and then pair this with an email forwarding service such as simplelogin/anonaddy for pgp. You’d still be using gmail, but will prevent gmail from snooping on emails due to encryption, and increase security/privacy by optionally having a seperate email alias for all services.
