I personally learnt cpp basics from gfg, then went ahead with solving basic problems on codeforces.com and codechef.com. Learnt basic algorithms such as brute force, math and greedy on my own while solving these problems, as well as search sort algos. This itself took me a good 6 months, and then I learnt dynamic programming (optimised recursion). Now I'm learning more on data structures. I think this roadmap would work, if you are trying to learn dsa for competitive programming/targetting icpc. For placements only, you could try leetcode or fcc. Please just not apni kaksha, it doesn't cover the important stuff.
