Letterboxd

Letterboxd is pretty useful. You can follow people with similar tastes and be introduced to new films/directors that way. For example, you can pick a film you really enjoy, go to it's letterboxd page, read reviews, and for the reviews you enjoy, check out the users profile and explore what films of similar genres they gave high ratings. People also create different types of lists that can be very helpful as well.
