I am having the exact seem experience with babylist. It had been super-convenient for me to add items through babylist.com. I had been reading their guides (which are amaaazing) and adding items along the way. I also like that it links to Target, Amazon and the smaller vendors. IT price compares. Like, this is next level amazing. However, I think most of my relatives and my husband's relatives aren't even looking at the site. I have a lot of important items on that list. To be fair, I also made a target.com registry, but it was precisely because I feared this. They wouldn't go onto babylist.com because they never heard of it and then we'd be getting clarification calls everyday (the bane of my husband's existence). It seems my friends are using it and that's good. Might just return anything I don't want to target and use the store credit to get comparable items that I would have gotten off of babylist instead. Shouldn't be a big deal!
