Scoop

On Windows systems, we'll be using a package manager known as Scoop. Scoop is a package manager for Windows which allows for you to use Unix-style commands directly from PowerShell (for instance, it can install Man pages without the work I described a while back on this sub), and manages it's programs in a way that does not require a UAC prompt /every time you want to install something/ (similar to how the programs you compile can run). To install it, follow the instructions on https://scoop.sh. You should now be ready to install stuff with Scoop! Run scoop help and read through it's documentation to familiarize yourself with it.
