If I were you, I would check out the free courses at freecodecamp.org, theodinproject.org, or if you are looking to build long term solid expertise and willing to invest a bit, Launchschool.com. The latter is about 200 a month for ongoing learn at your own pace style bootcamp - and they have very high standards to make you very precise and learn software engineering.

Hmm. Until you figure out what you want to use programming to do, since it's really a tool, try starting out with learning java and python on w3schools.com, then take those skills over to codingbat.com to practice solving problems in java and python, just to get in with a start on problem solving. If you want to try a discrete maths course, you can check it out on study.com.
