    If I were you, I would check out the free courses at freecodecamp.org, theodinproject.org, or if you are looking to build long term solid expertise and willing to invest a bit, Launchschool.com. The latter is about 200 a month for ongoing learn at your own pace style bootcamp - and they have very high standards to make you very precise and learn software engineering.

Until you figure out what you want to use programming to do, since it's really a tool, try starting out with learning java and python on w3schools.com, then take those skills over to codingbat.com to practice solving problems in java and python, just to get in with a start on problem solving. If you want to try a discrete maths course, you can check it out on study.com.
