Right now, I am learning guitar with the free lessons from the justinguitar.com website, it has everything you need to know to learn all the most important music theory that you need to know to be able to play lots of songs. The main problem with rocksmith is that it's just a game, it doesn't teach you to play guitar. However, Rocksmith is still better than guitar tabs because it gives you direct feedback when you play by telling you if you're playing the right notes or not. But you can't just do Rocksmith if your goal is to improve at the guitar over time.
